What do you wish you had known about this particular city/country before moving there?
That I'd never want to leave. Also Auckland is built on a series of volcanoes so it is VERY hilly; walking places within the city can be a real workout and I don't ride my bike around town because of the combination of hills and drivers that don't seem terribly considerate of cyclists (though there are a number of cycling trails and lanes in town) - Jun 2019
There's nothing onerous about NZ except that the wages are relatively low compared to other developed countries in relation to house price costs. - Feb 2015
