Are preschools available? Day care? Are these expensive? What has been your experience with them, if any? Do the schools provide before- and/or after-school care?
Not knowledgeable in this area. However, there are preschools around the consulate that other families have used. They were generally happy with them. Not sure about the languages the preschools are conducted in. CIS, Heritage, and South City all have English speaking preschools. - Aug 2021
There are many small centers but they usually put like 10 kids in small rooms and no outdoor space to run around, maybe roof if a building. We just hired an extra nanny. Our apt had plenty of indoor space to run around. - Dec 2020
There are a few preschool options. We sent our son to a Montessori school, which also serves as a teacher training academy, and were quite happy with it. It was relatively inexpensive. - Sep 2015

Plentiful domestic help is available, but there are preschools available, including Montessori and other options. Each neighborhood has several preschools, so it's best to find the most suitable option for you and your family. - May 2008
