Is this a good city for single people? For couples? For families? Why or why not?
Great for families, should be fine for couples, probably not bad for singles, but don't expect the expat communities and night life you might have in Tokyo. Sapporo does have a fairly well-known bar/restaurant district, though: the largest north of Tokyo. - Sep 2011
