What typical restaurants, food delivery services, and/or takeout options are popular among expatriates?

All varieties and styles, including most American fast food chains. Local seafood is prevalent and good. Haven't really spotted a Mexican restaurant, but there's probably one out there. The local favorite is the donair, a gyro-type sandwich, but with a unique, local sweet sauce made with condensed milk. Personally not a big fan, but they love it and have made it the "official sandwich of Halifax." - May 2018
