How much of the local language do you need for daily living? Are local language classes/tutors available and affordable?
It was hard to find Japanese that spoke English or felt comfortable speaking English so I found myself using Google translate a lot. Even at the airport, it was hard to find staff that spoke english. - Jul 2021
