What is the typical dress code at work and in public places? Is formal dress ever required?
Japan is conservative so for work you are expected to dress professionally. Japan is not very keen on tattoos so there are places where people with tattoos can not enter and in some places they need to be covered. It is changing and you see more Japanese with tattoos. - Jul 2021
