Are there personal security concerns to be aware of at this post? Please describe.
Because Adana is a couple hours from the Syrian border, travel into Eastern Turkey has been tightened and some restrictions are in place. Aside from that, there were no travel restrictions in the city when we were there. Walking around or even driving around was safe. - May 2015
Adana is a few hours to the Northern Syrian border, so certain travel is tightly controlled. That being said, we have felt totally safe in Adana. Crime has not been an issue. - Jan 2015
