It's such a neat place to explore, especially traveling along the Silk Road. Discovering the cultural artistry/textiles. The friendly people, the inexpensive cost of living, the housing...there are a lot of perks to living in Tashkent. - Sep 2018
The local people are so kind and helpful and accepting. The goods and services are extremely affordable. I loved the Tashkent International School community for myself and for my children. I loved being a member of Tashkent Women's International Group (TWIG) and the U.S. Embassy community was absolutely incredible.
