Are there any particular mental health issues that tend to crop up at post, such as Seasonal Affective Disorder (winter blues)?
The isolation of the country is probably the biggest issue. It's a small Embassy community and flights out are costly and long, making short getaways hard. There are some resorts and national parks within easy distance (and a few more within tougher distances) that make getting out of town possible. It's a slow moving post with not a lot going on outside of work, so having the ability to easy by the pool/beach and make your own fun are necessities. - Oct 2020
