What is the overall climate: is it extremely hot or cold, wet or dry, at any time of year, for example?
For almost the entire year it's very hot and humid - think Florida. During the summer months (mid-July to mid-September usually, though climate change is blurring this period significantly) it gets drier and "cooler". The most clothing people wear in the "cool" months are light sweaters and jeans; shorts/dresses for the rest of the year. - Oct 2020
July is incredible with highes in the upper 70's F but dry. Rainy season starts in September and lasts through May with incredible downpours. Other than July, it's just hot. - Jul 2014

Hot, humid, and long rainy seasons and short dry seasons. I preferred June - July as it was cloudy and not as hot. My husband preferred the rest of the year, as it was hot and sunny. - Aug 2011
