What types of jobs do most expatriate spouses/partners have? Locally based or telecommuting? Full-time or part-time? Can you comment on local salary scales?

None. Italy's economy is not so hot, unemployment is high. It is very difficult to find employment on the economy; and the consulate is so small that there are no EFM positions to be had other than the CLO. Which has just been filled as a jobshare. Yayh!
