Pollution index (Good, Moderate, Unhealthy, or Very Unhealthy)?
Pollution gets worse each year. One week a year the factories across the border in the Mainland of China shut down and you can see clear, sunny skies for that week. All of the pollution in Hong Kong seems to be air pollution from the factories across the border. Having said that, the pollution did not affect me at all and I still spent many happy days at the beach or hiking, etc. I think the pollution is better than it is in Beijing, for instance. - Jun 2008
