What is the overall climate: is it extremely hot or cold, wet or dry, at any time of year, for example?
Consistent. Wet & dry season, Temps range from high 60s to mid 90s. - Aug 2021

This is a sub-tropical country with a very defined rainy and dry season. Given its geography however, apart from the rainy season, it's a lot more arid than other countries in the region and given the proximity to the sea, the breezes offer respite during the dry season (which can actually be a little cool at night).
