Are there problems with ethnic, race/racial minorities or religious prejudices? Gender equality?
Again, Durban is a multi ethnic, multi cultural city, and like anywhere around the world some people harbor prejudices, but on the whole, Durban is an accepting place. There are churches and mosques sprinkled all around the area as well as a couple temples and synagogues. Women are valued and seen in prominent government roles, as well as business owners. It's not where it should be, but it's getting better. - Sep 2024
