What is the air quality like at post (good/moderate/bad)? Are there seasonal air quality issues? Does the air quality have an impact on health?
Very good air quality, other than just before and after the sugarcane harvest season (May through July) when they burn some of the fields. If you smell smoke, close the windows because some people find their allergies are really aggravated by the smoke. People complain about the humidity but it's far easier to deal with than the stickiness of August in Washington, DC. - Jun 2014
