What do you wish you had known about this particular city/country before moving there?
Cars. Don't ask expats what they've brought, ask a local what cars they can buy on the local market. If you have an accident or breakdown, getting parts will be expensive and will take FOREVER if you buy a model that is not sold here. - Jun 2014
