What kinds of gyms or other sports/workout facilities are available? Are they expensive?
Anything you can think of most likely exists in Hermosillo. There are gyms, women only gyms, pilates, yoga, CrossFit, spinning, hiit workout studios, etc. I go to a huge gym and it costs $800 MXN a month. I've also seen dance studios for adults and kids. - Sep 2024

The country club Los Lagos has a gym and there are various other gyms around the city. Los Lagos works out to about $250/month for a family to have access to the gym/pool/activities/classes but not golf. Golf adds about $150 for a family. Prices are cheaper for singles/couples. - Sep 2022
There are yoga studios here, Club Los Lagos de Golf is a nice country club that has golf, racket sports, a gym, a pool etc. There are also other more affordable gym options throughout the city. - Sep 2022

A downside of Hermosillo is that there isn't a lot of availability of green spaces or walking areas. They have more than made up for it in the wide variety of gyms and workout facilities. There is a also a very popular country club- Los Lagos - that most people join, with a gym, pool, golf course, etc. Prices are comparable to the US. - Apr 2013
Yes. There are many good options around town, so finding one nearby shouldn't be a problem. Most have the equipment you would look for in U.S. gyms and prices are also equivalent. - Dec 2009
