Are local sports classes and/or activities available for kids?
Yes, many. The Los Lagos Country Club has many activities for kids of all ages. I've seen many activities for kids (dance studios, arcades, art, swimming, etc.) around Hermosillo. Anything your kids do in the US you can probably find in Hermosillo. - Sep 2024
You can find just about anything you are looking for but it's going to be Spanish. At Los Lagos, in addition to group fitness classes for adults, they offer swim, tennis, golf, racquetball, dance, taekwando, for kids. As well as seasonal events like holiday parties and dia del nino events. Los Lagos also offers a gym day care for ages 2-5 within the facility. Outside of Los Lagos there are plenty of options for sports, dance, music, drama, cooking classes. I've found that Instagram and social media is the best way to find them. - Jun 2023
Yes, Los Lagos has a lot (golf, flag football, swim, dance, karate, tae kwan do, boxing, etc) and you can find more outside the club as well, including tackle football. - Sep 2022
Yes, at the country club and many are school-associated. Swim classes usually have wait lists. It can be difficult to easily find sports for kids. There is a skateboarding park that also provides lessons. - Aug 2022
