Hermosillo - Post Report Question and Answers

Knowing what you know now, would you still move to this city?

Yes. Morale at post is excellent. The managers and local staff are patient, eager to train you, and are willing to invest their time and energy to truly develop you into a knowledgable and wellrounded FSO/LNA. The lifestyle is easy going, suburbia, fun in the sun. The beaches (particularly San Carlos) are drop dead gorgeous and are Mexico's best kept secret. - Sep 2024

Yes, it has been a great spot for our family at this stage of life. While not the most exciting or cosmopolitan city my kids have really thrived. We have all made good friends, the local staff is wonderful, and the short commute makes for a low stress day. - Jun 2023

Absolutely. We honestly could spend another year here. It can be boring, but I feel like we made the best of it and have loved the time with our kids. We will be leaving with some good friends and great memories. - Apr 2013
