Yes, newspapers are less than a dollar, TV is pretty expensive even for the basic package. I think ours is around $100. - Feb 2011

There are two local papers and one local TV channel. All are in English. AFN direct to sailor is available for the cost of the decoder and dish and we also get DSTV from South Africa. - Mar 2008
