Are there problems with ethnic, race/racial minorities or religious prejudices? Gender equality?
Yes. The Cypriots tend to treat Filipino and other migrant works and refugees as second class citizens. It's extremely hard for them to get any jobs, and only housekeeping, janitorial or other menial jobs are options for them. - Jan 2025

Yes. This is a chauvinistic society. Racial issues are towards the Turks more than anything else becuase of the exisiting conflict. - May 2008
