What types of jobs do most expatriate spouses/partners have? Locally based or telecommuting? Full-time or part-time? Can you comment on local salary scales?
I worked full-time remotely-based out of an office in the UK and occasionally traveling for work. One drawback of being based in Cyprus rather than more centrally in Europe was that almost any trip took a full day each way. I was not paid on the local economy. - Aug 2022
Most work in the embassy. EFM jobs are few, though. Some EFM's have struggled finding employment within the embassy. - Aug 2022
