Home is Northeast. Takes 24 hours through CDG or BRU to Dulles. - Jun 2020

West Coast. It's about 24 hours from first takeoff to last touchdown. Routes are through Paris and Brussels as city-pair fares. Brussels requires another connection on the East Coast or elsewhere in Europe (Frankfurt, London) to get to the West Coast. If you're paying your own way, Istanbul is an option with Turkish Airlines. - May 2016

Washington, D.C. and Detroit, Michigan. For D.C., it takes roughly 17 hours when you include layovers. The flight takes off at night from Ouagadougou and lands at Paris-CDG in the morning, then you get a direct connection to the U.S. (normally Dulles), which takes more than 7 hours.. - Nov 2012
