Nassau - Post Report Question and Answers
Is this a "shopping post"? Are there interesting handicrafts, artwork, antiques, or other items that people typically buy there?
Lots of handicrafts and artwork readily available. One mall on island but not a lot of big name stores and nothing to write home about. Not a big traditional clothes shopping post...I would not come here for that. - May 2024
There are local handicrafts like straw baskets, jewelry, art, wood carvings, etc. make sure it isn't made in China because they sell a lot of that stuff right along beside the local products. - Jun 2015
The "unique local items" are more activities than goods. Mostly water related events such as diving, sailing, dolphin swims, etc. - May 2015
