Are there any particular health concerns? What is the quality of available medical care? What medical conditions typically require medical evacuation?
Air quality is moderately bad in the winter, and very bad from May to October (most days as bad or worse than Delhi/Beijing circa 2008). Medical care is excellent, though expensive and you have to self-pay in advance. Expect to care a fair amount of medical debt while you wait for the reimbursement. - Mar 2021

Medical care varies greatly. There is a culture of fear amongst the medical fraternity here, it seems they get sued easily, so if you go to the doctor you're likely to have far too many tests that you don't really need. - Jan 2011
Many physicians are US board certified or the equivalent. That being said, they are all part of the expat community. Everyone goes on holiday sometime during the year, and you may find yourself here without a specialist. Ancillary care can be less reliable. - Sep 2009
