I know plenty of people who came single and left either engaged or in a serious relationship. I've found singles and couples tend to do a bit better than those with kids. The concerns over education, healthcare and social activities for families can be difficult. The singles scene is mostly drinking beer, eating out, or hosting house parties. - Jan 2012
