The potteries in Salé (just across the river from Rabat - about a 15 min drive from the Embassy) offer a huge array of pottery and furniture for insanely cheap prices (at least for the pottery).
Otherwise, rugs, ceramics, clothing, leather goods, etc. abound and are of very high quality. You can find anything in the medinas, but I recommend Fes for leather and rugs and Salé for pottery. Our CLO has tons of suggestions too. - Oct 2017
