What accommodations do schools make for special-needs kids?

I understand that CMS has some services, but without a doubt, except for the library, the Special Needs and ESL departments of CMS are the worst people to deal with. They are an odd collection of misfits and poor hires, and their incompetence and ineptitude make any dealings with them difficult. - May 2009

See above about schools. They will "accomodate" your child in the sense that they will do what they can. Whether or not that is sufficient for your child"s progress is another question. I have not had good success in this area. - Oct 2008
