What is the availability and cost of household help, and what types of help are typically employed by expatriates?

There is a variety of household help available, from babysitters, nannies, cleaning staff, etc. A lot of service providers will make house calls including physical trainers, beauticians, and masseuses. Nannies and cleaning staff tend to be the most in demand. I had cleaning taff at my apartment once a week to clean. Staff can be Greek or come from other countries such as the Philippines. For two cleaning helpers once a week who spoke fluent English I paid 50 euros total. - Dec 2016
