Are local buses, trams, trains or taxis safe and affordable?
The train route covers all major cities and is very affordable. It's a good idea to spring for first class, as second class fills up extremely quickly and often overflows. City buses are crowded and unreliable. Taxis are the most common form of inner-city transportation and are cheap, but the drivers don't always follow safety regulations in driving and auto maintenance.
