What kinds of gyms or other sports/workout facilities are available? Are they expensive?
The Embassy has a large and well-equipped gym that diplomats can use for free. There are pools available throughout the city, including on Margit Island, and some people who liked to swim joined those. There are lots of yoga studios. I attended a weekly English-speaking yoga class at a local studio. Very reasonable—about US$8 per 75-minute class. There is a jogging track around the perimeter of Margit Island that is popular with locals, but easy for anyone who lives nearby to use. - Feb 2020
