What are the technology requirements for students? Do they need their own laptops/ipads? How is technology integrated into the classroom and homework?
Technology is very well integrated at the high school, particularly after virtual learning throughout the pandemic. My high school students had both a laptop and tablet for classroom use as well as desktop computer at home. Please check with the school for current requirements as technology requirements change. - Sep 2023
Technology is essential so all families considering going here should have strong internet/wifi at home and a dedicated computer for students to work on after hours. MS and HS students are issued a device each year. ASD handles technology very well, and they managed these last 2 pandemic years very well compared to other schools. - Apr 2022
Need access to computer at home. In school it is provided. Technology in elementary school often seems to be used for the sake of using technology rather than because it is a better or more efficient way. Classroom teachers vary considerably in their skill level integrating technology and much time is wasted getting ready to use the iPads/computers. - Jul 2019
