Vilnius - School Report Question and Answers
Are there are any problems with exclusionary behavior, cliques, or bullying at this school? Please describe any problems your children may have experienced in this area.
The school does not like to recognize problems like bullying or exclusionary behavior. These behaviors do happen. Much of the upper school is divided by native language. - May 2024
There have been some normal issues in this regard for my kids. Nothing targeting him for his being American or anything like that, he just doesn't always feel welcome with the "sportier" kids in class and they may "dis-include" him from games because he is not as skilled as they are. This was a problem for him stateside too. My daughter didn't really connect with her foreign classmates but she was quite introverted and did not really share the same likes/dislikes as the small group of kids in her class. Pretty normal stuff. - Sep 2018
No, we have not experienced this at all, and I can't ever recall hearing about such an experience. - May 2013
No. AISV has a strong policy and procedure against bullying and teasing. The problems at the school are much less than at other schools, I would imagine. - Apr 2013
