Sadly, no American football!!LOLOther than that, a program for special needs kids would be great.

Nothing that's mandatory, although at the high school level there are tons of opportunties for travel during breaks, usually quite pricey.

Like I said, American football would be nice, but there are activities that appeal to everyone.

My kids aren't sporty, but have partaken in Forensics, guitar classes, study clubs, rock climbing clubs, you name it.

The HS counseling department is good at keeping up with new students and teachers are always open and willing to talk.

Like any school, there can be cliques.But truthfully, kids at ASD are generally great, proving to be welcoming and inclusive.

Yes, tons of sports, band, orchestra, vocal groups, drama, art, after school activities - you name it.

Social & Emotional Well-Being:

1. Do expatriate students socialize with local students at the school? Are both groups successfully integrated into the school culture?

Local students tend to stick together.Some break the mold and socialize with expats, but it's not the norm.

2. Are there are any problems with exclusionary behavior, cliques, or bullying at this school? Please describe any problems your children may have experienced in this area.

No - the school is about 85% expat, so they are in the majority.However, relations between local and expat are generally great with no conflict.

Overall Impressions:

1. What is the greatest strength of this school?

The facilities are amazing, the teachers are wonderful and the administration is great.We have no complaints.

Honestly, I can't think of any.

3. Would you choose this school again? Why?

Absolutely.Putting our children at ASD has been great for them, challenging them academically.We've seen tremendous growth in them since enrolling at ASD.
